About the role

- This role is pivotal in bridging R&D and full-scale production, ensuring high-performance materials are manufactured efficiently and reliably for use in cutting-edge products.
Responsibilities
- Lead process development and scale-up for soft magnetic materials and stack component manufacturing used in high-performance applications (e.g., EVs, robotics, aerospace).
- Develop and document design of parts and fixtures used in the production of soft magnetic product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, product design, and quality to transition prototypes into scalable manufacturing processes.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing workflows, including powder metallurgy, lamination stacking, sintering, and heat treatment.
- Implement statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing principles to improve yield, reduce waste, and ensure product consistency.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations or quality issues.
- Support supplier development and qualification for raw materials and outsourced processes.
- Document process parameters, work instructions, and validation protocols in compliance with industry standards.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in soft magnetics, advanced materials, or stack assembly.
