About the role
- Under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Servicing, the Manager I on the Loan Servicing & Asset Managment team is responsible for supervising Account Managers and overseeing the performance of the off-balance commercial real estate portfolio.
- This includes conduit, agency, and life insurance clients.
- The role also involves oversight of the Portfolio Services Warehouse team and the Conversions department.
Responsibilities
- Act as liaison and manage warehouse client relationships, including contract negotiations and subservicing transactions.
- Collaborate with IT to improve workflow efficiencies.
- Recommend and implement policy and procedure revisions.
- Be present in the office to work and collaborate in-person with colleagues and cross-functional teams.

- Supervise daily functions of Account Managers and organize workflow to ensure productivity and compliance.
- Participate in new loan closing meetings and facilitate securitization and conversion processes.
- Review and approve complex financial transactions such as escrow holdbacks and construction draws.
- Authorize disbursements from cash management and investor reporting accounts.
- Train staff and ensure adherence to procedures and policies.
- Evaluate and assign risk ratings through the Asset Quality Reporting process and participate in Asset Recovery Group planning sessions.

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
Skills
- Experience with McCracken/Strategy and RECWeb systems for managing commercial real estate loans.
- Ability to supervise staff, provide training, and foster a high-performance culture.
- Understanding of legal principles related to commercial real estate transactions.
- Familiarity with underwriting standards and practices for commercial real estate loans.
- Strong verbal and written communication for internal collaboration and client interaction.
- Ability to evaluate financial data, risk ratings, and operational performance.

Compensation
- for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
- This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually.
- Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
