About the role

  • Prepare bid forms and administrative documentation for proposal submissions.
  • Assist with contract review and documentation.
  • Coordinate and attend business development events as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage incoming construction staking bid requests and distribute opportunities to the appropriate regional teams.
  • Create and maintain electronic project folders and organize bid documentation.
  • Maintain the estimating bid calendar and track deadlines.
  • Download, organize, and distribute plans, specifications, addenda, and supporting bid documents.
  • Track bid submissions and perform follow-up with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Support Business Development meetings by preparing materials and maintaining tracking logs.
  • Maintain estimating records and documentation in accordance with company standards.
  • The Estimating Assistant provides administrative and project support to the estimating team by coordinating bid opportunities, organizing project documentation, and assisting with proposal preparation and compliance requirements.
  • This position maintains bid schedules, prepares bid documentation, tracks project opportunities, and ensures estimating information is accurate and organized.
  • The role works closely with estimators, project managers, survey staff, and business development to support successful project pursuits while maintaining a high level of organization, accuracy, and responsiveness.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift and/or carry items ( up to 20 lbs.)
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (field checks)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of administrative, estimating, construction, engineering, or project coordination experience preferred.
  • Experience with construction plans, bid documents, or proposal coordination preferred.

Compensation

  • $100k-$135k
