We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion.
As part of the Emerging Technology Team, you will bring a software development perspective to aerospace design and analysis systems.
You will be a key member of the team responsible for building our AI native systems that design, build and test our products using the latest AWS, Java, React, Python and GenAI platforms.

BA/BS in computer science, information science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in practice
2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience, writing production code in at least one programming language
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and the ability translate domain expertise into applications
Familiarity with Python, Java and Typescript as a primary coding language
Experience with version control (Gitlab / Github) and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with unit and end to end testing on Java or React
Familiarity with Angular or Python coding language
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
Applicants for employment at Blue Origin must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Required for all positions: Blue's Standard Background Check
Experience developing long-lasting REST/GraphQL APIs and/or applications in a production environment
Nuanced understanding of at least one modern database system, such as RDBMS, columnar DBMS, NoSQL, IMDB.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships through outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

Previous use of AWS, Azure, or other cloud infrastructures
Base Pay Range for:

Stock Options for all regular employees (working at least 20 hours/week)
