About the role
- Reporting to the Registered Nurse/Clinical Care Coordinator and Director of Care, the Licensed Practical Nurse assists in the planning, assessing, implementation, and evaluation of holistic resident care within the standards of practice as outlined by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC and within the current legislative scope of practice.

- In addition, we support people experiencing unemployment, addiction and family challenges.

- Performs other related duties as required.
- Education and Experience:
- Graduation from a recognized program for Licensed Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current full practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of B.C. (CPLBC)
- Skills and Abilities:
- Ability and willingness to undergo applicable screening and background checks successfully that are satisfactory to The Salvation Army, in its sole discretion (i.e., The Salvation Army Abuse Registry) and provide an original copy of a Background Check screening.

- Responsive, outgoing attitude and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Competence to type and effectively utilize a variety of computer software applications.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency to communicate effectively in English - both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Physical ability to carry out duties of this position.
Compensation
- Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
