Responsibilities

  • Perform as a Messaging System Administrator on large unclassified systems for the Northrop Grumman Enterprise.
  • Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and customer and IT management.
  • Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
  • Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.
  • Maintain security audit and logging information on all classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).
  • Work under minimal direction and collaborate with peers to determine and develop approach to solutions.

Requirements

  • 2 Years of relevant IT experience with a Bachelors degree, 4 years with an Associates, OR 6 years with a High School Diploma.
  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret level security clearance as a condition of continued employment.
  • Must have at server administration experience with Windows server.
  • Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange on premise or M365 Exchange Online.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams.
  • Solid understanding of diagnosing issues with computing services.
  • Solid writing skills and research skills for documentation.

Compensation

  • $75,800.00 - $113,800.00
  • Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
  • Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
  • The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
