About the role
- Works under the supervision of the Charge RN/Nursing Supervisor/Nurse Manager/Director in personal care of the patients and their environment, including those needing special precautions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with referral sources, patients, families, and team members regarding care coordination. Provides follow-up actions as needed.
- Serves as the initial contact for patients, families, referral sources and/or allied agencies seeking intervention or support.
- Leads patients in therapeutic and recreational activities.
Requirements
- This position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to support/provide care appropriate to the age of the patient/resident served on unit assigned.
- Education
- Experience
- 1 year Behavioral health experience (Preferred)
- Licenses and Certifications
- CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required) and
- First Aid - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
