- Work is performed under the supervision of the Program Manager.
Responsibilities
- We blend cutting-edge technology with compassionate, high-touch services to drive real, measurable outcomes in the lives of job seekers across the country.
- Career Team is looking to hire a Career Advisor who will perform professional work providing career counseling, intensive case management, and follow-up services to participants eligible for workforce programs.
- Serve as a liaison between workforce development programs and community partners and resources
Requirements
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-thought-out decisions
- Must be computer literate with MS Word and Excel skills at minimum, and the ability to learn specialized databases and software systems
- Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive
- Ability to meet and exceed set goals and objectives
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, customer service, organizational, and communication skills, both oral and written required
- Enter data into WIT and process clients through any participant information system as required
- Maintain accurate individual case files in WIT for each registered customer, assuring each file contains all required eligibility documents and meets compliance requirements
- Meet and/or exceed program benchmarks and participate in all staff-related events as required, including training, staff meetings, and individual supervision
- Complete all required reports within the data management system
Skills
- Bilingual or multilingual
- Strong multitasking abilities and a proactive approach to tasks
- Experience and knowledge of WIOA, TANF, SNAP, and other workforce development programs
- Training in Trauma Informed Care, evidence-based practice, and/or whole family services
Compensation
- $44,000 - $48,000/yr
