  • MAIN DUTIES: The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing overnight front office operations while completing day-end accounting and audit functions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nightly audit procedures to balance and reconcile daily revenue, guest ledger activity, and accounts receivable
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of overnight activity, incidents, and guest interactions
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Ensure guest safety and security overnight, reporting any unusual activity or incidents to management or security as required
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Nice to have

  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications
  • PMS experience preferred

Skills

  • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and remain alert and focused throughout the entire shift
  • Previous Front Office, Night Audit, or Accounting experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a passion for numbers and reconciliation accuracy
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications; PMS experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
  • Calm, professional demeanor with strong guest service skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required
  • University or college degree in Hospitality, Accounting, or a related field is an asset
