About the role
- Responsible for managing the finance function and providing analysis and control for the financial performance of the plant.
- Ensures relevant and effective performance measurements and communication to Management.
- Duties are listed in order of greatest importance.
Responsibilities
- include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Establish and maintain key company wide relationships, (e.g. Operations Controller, Corporate Controller, Treasury, Tax Director, etc).
- Establish and maintain key external relationships, (e.g. HMCE, Inland Revenue, Lawyers, Auditors, Grant Authorities, Surveyors, Suppliers and other advisors).
- Review, maintain, and reconcile all inter company transactions.
- Supervise, maintain, and enforce the internal control policies according to corporate guidelines and local laws.
- Support managers in the start-up process of products or production lines.
Requirements
- The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
