About the role
- William Grant is looking to hire an experienced industrial sandblaster and painter to join our production team.

Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Proven experience in industrial painting
- Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
- Strong work ethic, and the ability to handle peak work times
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Excellent communication skills, listening, comprehension and feedback
- Strong team building and decision-making
- High attention to detail
Skills
- Adhere to all applicable governing codes, customer specifications, and company procedures
- Read drawings and specifications to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sandblasting
- Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color and/or texture
- Apply finishes
- Assist with yard and shop activities (hydro testing, loading, shipping, deliveries, etc.)
- Dispose of all waste appropriately
