About the role

The General Superintendent/Construction Manager position will supervise assigned project activities, including overseeing all field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, subcontractors and suppliers.
The GS/CM will coordinate and work in conjunction with the Project Manager leading the project team.
Minimum requirement is a High School diploma, with 15+ years of related experience.

Ability to effectively use a computer and required software (Procore, Microsoft Office, MS Project)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Knowledge of permitting, review and inspection process
Ability to monitor and respond to multiple scopes of work occurring simultaneously
Ability to forecast scheduling challenges and present possible solutions
Ability to complete all assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Ability to be alert to all that is taking place on the job site.
Ability to show truthfulness and honesty in all situations.
Ability to be decisive and to recognize key factors and provide input to make difficult decisions.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.

Minimum of 10+ years of experience as an on-site Superintendent/Construction Manager; experience with above listed responsibilities.
Knowledge of construction trades with focus on sitework, concrete, steel, MEP, and interior finishes.
Experience with cast in place concrete and shotcrete is strongly preferred.
DMV checks performed annually.

Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company's auto insurance policy.
