About the role
- Working closely with the founders, you'll define how Wolf Games shows up to the world.
- Success in this role isn't measured by impressions or follower counts.
- You'll begin as an individual contributor with significant ownership, helping establish the company's marketing foundation before growing a small team as the audience and business scale.
Responsibilities
- Build Wolf Games' Marketing Function.
- Own the creation of Wolf Games' marketing strategy and operating model from the ground up.
- You'll establish the company's brand positioning, go-to-market approach, and marketing systems, creating the foundation for how Wolf communicates with players, partners, and the broader industry.
- You'll define priorities, build repeatable processes, and lay the groundwork for a marketing organization that scales alongside the business.
- Build and nurture Wolf Games' direct relationship with players.
- You'll develop our community strategy, launch and grow player spaces like Discord, and establish repeatable approaches for attracting, engaging, and retaining early players across multiple game launches.
- Your goal is to create an audience that follows Wolf Games-not just individual titles-and becomes an ongoing source of feedback, advocacy, and momentum.
- Lead Brand & Content Strategy.
- Partnering with Creative, you'll direct content strategy and campaigns that serve both players and commercial partners.
- Own Game Launch Marketing.
Requirements
- You know how to turn products, people, and the work itself into compelling stories.
- You work exceptionally well across disciplines.
Nice to have
- Experience in gaming, entertainment, consumer products, or creator-led businesses.
- Experience directing agencies, freelancers, or creative teams.
- Comfortable using AI-powered creative and content tools to accelerate ideation and production.
- Particularly Relevant Backgrounds We're less interested in a specific title than in the problems you've solved.
- You might be a great fit if you've built marketing, brand, or community efforts in environments like: Early-stage startups where you built a marketing function, brand, or go-to-market strategy from scratch.
- Gaming, entertainment, or interactive media companies with player-facing communities.
- Consumer technology, creator platforms, or digital products with strong community or audience growth.
- Agencies or consultancies where you led brand strategy, launches, or integrated marketing for multiple clients.
