About the role
- An international team of over 900 professionals is responsible for managing a wide range of investment programs focusing on private markets, multi-alternatives and diversifying strategies as well as sustainable and impact strategies.
- Headquartered in Pfaeffikon (SZ), Switzerland, the firm has offices in San Francisco, New York, Dublin, London, Paris, The Hague, Luxembourg, Frankfurt am Main, Vaduz, Dubai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney.
- The position combines market coverage, manager relationship development, investment underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and selective client engagement.
Responsibilities
- Source opportunities and build relationships with both established and emerging managers, maintaining active dialogue with sponsors and industry participants to strengthen the firm's market access and visibility.
- Support the evaluation and execution of new fund opportunities through diligence, financial and qualitative analysis, investment memoranda preparation, and internal recommendation processes.
- Support portfolio monitoring activities for existing fund investments by tracking performance developments, preparing updates, and helping assess portfolio positioning over time.
- Partner with co-investment and secondary colleagues where portfolio insights overlap, ensuring a coordinated view of sponsor relationships and underlying investment exposures.
- Support or participate in investment update meetings with clients, helping present portfolio developments and answer questions on the underlying strategy.
- Represent the team at industry conferences and firm events to support market intelligence gathering, relationship development, and broader brand presence.

Requirements
- Ideal Candidate Profile/Qualifications
- Two to four years of relevant experience in U.S. private equity at a GP or LP, investment banking, consulting, or a closely related analytical environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of qualitative and quantitative information and communicate conclusions clearly and concisely.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to build polished materials and support analytical workstreams efficiently.
- Comfort with using AI-enabled tools and technology resources in a thoughtful, responsible, and productivity-enhancing manner.
Compensation
- The Company anticipates that the annual base salary for this San Francisco‑based position could range from $135,000.00 to $175,000.00.
- The actual annual base salary paid for this position will depend on factors such as the skill, experience, and qualifications of the chosen candidate for the position.
