About the role
- We're looking for a highly motivated self-starter to grow Elsevier's Patient Engagement and Care Plans portfolio within the payer market.
- We want a proactive hunter, someone who gets equally energized by finding new opportunities and closing them.
Responsibilities
- Cross-team collaboration: Partner with other Clinical Solutions sales teams to build proposals that span the broader portfolio, strengthening the value we bring to payer clients.
- Territory strategy: Build and execute a penetration plan for your assigned payer accounts, prioritizing the opportunities with the greatest impact.
- Contract negotiation: Lead negotiations and close contracts for new sales, making sure terms reflect the value patients and payers gain from the solution.
- Pipeline development: Prospect consistently to build a strong opportunity pipeline, and forecast new business with accuracy.
- Executive engagement: Build relationships with C-suite payer executives, leading strategic discussions that connect our solutions to their financial and clinical priorities.
- Stakeholder communication: Own deal status updates across internal teams, including Commercial, Clinical Executive, and Account Management, to keep the sales process moving.
- Partner with other Clinical Solutions sales teams to build proposals that span the broader portfolio, strengthening the value we bring to payer clients.
- Build and execute a penetration plan for your assigned payer accounts, prioritizing the opportunities with the greatest impact.
- Our product portfolio spans market-leading solutions in Clinical Reference, Advanced Clinical Decision Support, Nursing, Patient Engagement and Precision Medicine.
