About the role
- Job Description Hall Toyota in Virginia Beach is looking for a reliable, full-time driver to join our Parts team.
- The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM.
- Summary: The Parts Driver will be responsible for transporting automotive parts to different locations using a company vehicle while obeying all federal and state traffic laws and safe daily practices.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License, with 2 or fewer moving violations in last 3 years
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skills

- Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Self-Starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skills
Compensation
- $15 -$16 hourly

- Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors
- Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up and checks for payments
- Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries, pick-ups, payments and COD's
- Advises Parts Manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance
- Assists service department as needed with attendant responsibilities of managing the drop-off and pick-up of customers' cars
- This individual will communicate at a high level to both internal and external customers to drive a high level of customer service.
