About the role

A CNC Operator, or CNC Machine Operator, is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of manufacturing machinery.
Their duties include running tests before the start of operations, Operator will load, unload, and inspect parts during the machining process.
Operator will be responsible for the quality of the parts being produced and for achieving production standards.

Performs basic math calculations, including addition and subtraction of decimals.
Maintains dimensional tolerances between ±.0003"-.005" or greater.
Maintains accurate part counts, fills out Box Tags, and Job/Quantity Tracker.
Reports and asks supervisor/lead for assistance with any machining problems.
Maintains a clean work area and observes all safety procedures
Can execute machine offsets and insert changes with direction of supervisor or lead-person.
Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
Practices safe work habits, maintains clean working environment, and performs routine preventative maintenance and other duties as directed

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

No experience required.
1+ yrs. prior experience preferred working with controls and instrumentation, equipment maintenance

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:15 PM - 2:45 AM | $3 shift differential
Weekend Day Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM | $5 shift differential
Weekend Night Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM | $6 shift differential
