About the role

  • About the Position The Safety Coordinator is responsible for coordinating assigned aspects of the ALS Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) for Waterloo and associated Service Centres.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs on a regular basis and carry for short distances;
  • Ability to complete a full shift with a combination of sitting, standing, and occasional walking, including periodic sedentary responsibilities;
  • Wear issued personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, etc. when required;

Nice to have

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a Laboratory environment is preferred;

Compensation

  • Work with HSE Manager, Canada Environmental and location managers to implement all new and existing ALS health and safety programs and annual HSE strategies
