About the role

  • This is a high-impact role with visibility across the organization and direct influence on customer experience, cost performance, and network scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead carrier and 3PL strategy and optimization, including sourcing, performance management, and network design
  • Support and influence contract negotiations with major parcel carriers and FSL vendors, including pricing structures and accessorials
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives across carrier mix, routing, FSL footprint, and overall network design
  • Design scalable processes and operating models to support transportation and FSL growth
  • Partner cross-functionally to align transportation and FSL strategy with broader business priorities
  • Lead initiatives that improve delivery performance, visibility, and operational efficiency across transportation and FSL
  • Build financial models for frequent "What if" request due to new or changing business
  • Lead our training and development and internal facility management team

Requirements

  • 7+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain with global transportation strategy experience
  • Experience with parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL) and international shipping
  • Knowledge of global transportation regulations and compliance
  • Experience with FSL, field operations, or distributed inventory networks

Nice to have

  • Experience with global transportation and FSL network design
  • Background in transportation systems, visibility tools, or automation
  • Experience in high-volume logistics or service networks
  • Experience working with Legal, Finance, and Procurement on contracts and compliance
  • Opportunity to shape and scale a global transportation and FSL network

Compensation

  • Build Annual Operating Plan for all 3 programs to submit to finance and leaders as well as process subsequent updates to the plan throughout the year
