Responsibilities

Requirements
- Applicants are required to have the following: 1.
- Three to five years of progressive leadership experience including supervisory experience and prior experience with curriculum, academic programs, and the development and growth of academic initiatives.
- A master's degree in nursing; a doctorate degree is preferred.
- Three to five years of teaching experience, using a Learning Management System.
- Experience in assessing nursing skills and knowledge.
- Experience in mentoring faculty desired.
- Licensed/eligible (unrestricted) as a Registered Nurse in California.
- Potential to advance to the Director position in the future
Nice to have
- A master's degree in nursing
- a doctorate degree is preferred.
- Prior experience as an Associate Director in a nursing program preferred.
Skills
- Lead a continuing education program for the department.
- Assist with management of personnel, and other resources with accountability and efficiency.
- Communicate with faculty and assist the Director in making faculty assignments each semester.
