About the role

Duties are of routine nature and are followed according to established standard operating procedures.
Individual must use judgement to determine when independent actions are appropriate or to contact supervisor for direction.
Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Maintains laboratory in compliance with safety, GMP, and GLP standards.
Follows standard operating procedure while performing duties and maintains accurate records of all physical and analytical testing.
Performs scheduled inspections.
Performs data entry of results.
Performs daily calibration on IQC inspection lamps and calibers.
Performs sampling and physical release of Miscellaneous Materials.
Performs IQC SAP transactions.
Responsible for the timely and accurate support of raw materials group including sampling of active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients as well as basic testing of the materials.
Performs sampling and physical release of Raw Materials.
Performs transactions in SAP for deduction of material after sampling.

BS Degree in Chemistry or related field.
Associate degree in chemical/physical or biological sciences with 1-2 years of related experience
High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of related experience.
Responsible for providing laboratory support along with performance of routine chemical and physical testing of samples as required.
Performs other duties as required by Supervisor in support of daily lab operations.

Performs routine testing of medical air/utilities, components, labeling, and miscellaneous items by visual/dimensional AQL assessment, using manual and/or automated methods.
