About the role
- Achieve the production plan as defined in the annual budget
- The Pump Assembler pulls parts as defined in customer work orders and assembles pumps using engineering drawings in accordance with established standards.
Responsibilities
- Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards. Verifies measurements for accuracy and reports any problems or discrepancies to management.
- Maintains neat and orderly work areas at all times.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Must be able to achieve forklift driving certification
- 2+ years of mechanical experience
- Must be able to read and understand detailed work orders and translate that information into the pump assembly process, including basic math and measurement conversions
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and up to 150 pounds with assistance
- No travel required
- Safety gear is required in these areas.
- Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to work with hands using small hand tools, lifts, etc., for pump assembly process
- Ability to manage multiple projects where priority changes based on customer demand is frequent
- Capability of communicating easily with supervisor and peers in a team environment
- Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills
- Work Environment
- This position works primarily in a production floor environment where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas.
- This position reports into the site every day.
