Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Design, build, and maintain highly performant, accessible, and responsive web applications using our core frontend stack and frameworks.
- Component Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of key UI components and design system elements, including long-term strategy for performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with UX designers and engineer leaders (Principals and Staff) to translate business requirements and design specs into polished, production-ready interfaces.
- Incident Management: Lead the response and resolution of frontend-related production incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and drive the implementation of preventative measures at a systemic level.
- Proven experience designing, building, and evolving component libraries or design systems used across multiple teams or products.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and drive consensus on complex decisions.
- You will drive the technical strategy for our end-to-end user experience, ensuring it scales with exponential growth and increasingly complex business requirements.
- Lead the response and resolution of frontend-related production incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and drive the implementation of preventative measures at a systemic level.
Requirements
- The Skills and Experience You'll Bring At least 7 years of experience in frontend software development with a consistent track record of delivering high-quality, high-impact work at scale.
- Deep proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and the broader ecosystem, including build tooling, bundlers, and performance optimization.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
