About the role
- Commerce is looking for an Enterprise Training Manager, Technical Content to join our Training team.
- Reporting to the Manager, Training, this role sits at the intersection of technical content ownership and enterprise training delivery.
- We also consider internal equity to help ensure fair and consistent pay practices across our teams.
Responsibilities
- Produce product and developer-focused video content - including scripting, narration, and screen recordings - covering new feature releases, commonly asked questions, and key platform capabilities to support the broader developer ecosystem.
- Deliver customized virtual and in-person training for enterprise merchants, agency partners, and internal teams as needed.
- Conduct detailed scoping calls with merchants and partners to understand business objectives and functional requirements, and provide expert recommendations on personalized training needs.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Account Management, and Marketing.
- Work with external stakeholders, including client partners, project managers, developers, technical partners, and executives in enterprise organizations.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Commerce platform features, the third-party ecosystem, and competitive differentiators.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of GitHub and local development practices
- Experience with ecommerce tools and applications, including SaaS and open source storefronts, headless implementations, POS, PIM, OMS, ERP, and payment gateways.
