About the role

  • Job Title: Buyer II Job Description: As a Buyer II, you will be responsible for both tactical and strategic aspects of purchasing.
  • This includes supporting supplier Material Review Requests (MRR), and Engineering Change Notices (ECN) for assigned production cells.
  • Your role will be critical in removing roadblocks for production and ensuring strategic responsibilities around pricing are met.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the purchasing process for assigned production cells.
  • Supports supplier MRR and ECN processes.
  • Support in forecasting the demand for materials and services, and the timely placement of purchase orders.
  • Maintain and update order promise dates regularly.
  • Provide support to production cells as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels to avoid shortages and excesses.

Requirements

  • Safety glasses required while on factory floor

Nice to have

  • Preferred bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in production leadership, planning, purchasing, or a relevant supply chain function.
  • Previous scheduling or planning experience in a lean manufacturing environment.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 58500.00-108500.00
