About the role
- Monday-Saturday 8AM-5PM during the months of July October subject to 7 days Overtime may be available based on business needs during off season
- Escalon is located in California's Central Valley with a population of 7,558.
- Escalon has a large agricultural industry which is based on the fertile farmland surrounding the city.
Responsibilities
- May include, but isn't limited to: Working within the management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders and report any back ordered or missing products Scheduling of transportation for ingredients Assisting the Supply Chain Manager with maintaining inventory levels and materials on a regular basis Effectively communicating with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate Processing purchase orders, track orders and maintain an inventory Build relationships with suppliers Research, select and purchase quality products, materials and supplies Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery Weekly ordering of packaging material Daily reconciliation of purchase orders Manage plant procurement activities for packaging materials and supplies Maintain vendor accounts - coordinate orders, shipping, invoices, delivery
