- You will be joining a dedicated and collaborative team of Engineers and Scientists focused on Geotechnical, Hydrogeological, Environmental, and Materials related projects.
Responsibilities
- Execute on geotechnical aspects of a variety of projects including writing proposals, field work, data analysis, preparing geotechnical design recommendations and writing geotechnical reports
- Work with senior engineers and scientists across various disciplines to design and implement innovative and cost effective solutions
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (Geological Engineering program may be suitable) from a recognized university.
- 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Significant experience in geotechnical analysis, evaluations, and inspections.
- Experience with geotechnical software applications such as Slope/W, Seep/W, Sigma/W, Slide, Settle3D, FLAC, or similar.
- Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Client management and consultation as required to manage projects and develop of a client base
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills (English), strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage and prioritize several assignments at one time in order to deliver quality work on time and on budget. Preference will be given to candidates with Ministry of Transportation foundations project experience.
- Be (or eligible to become) a Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario.
- Be motivated to provide excellent client service and enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
