Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning activities from preconstruction through turnover.
- Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- Coordinate commissioning efforts with project teams, owners, engineers, trade partners, and vendors.
- Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, and project planning activities.
- Lead factory witness testing, site acceptance testing, functional performance testing, and integrated systems testing.
- Track commissioning issues and drive timely resolution.
- Manage commissioning documentation, test reports, issue logs, and turnover packages.
- Support owner training, operational readiness activities, and final turnover.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
Requirements
- Travel as required to support project assignments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in commissioning, mission critical construction, MEP systems, or facility engineering.
- Experience with large-scale mission critical projects, including data centers preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, controls, and life safety systems.
