Responsibilities
- Create control system requirements by working closely with internal and external customers.
- Work closely with P&WC software design department and other software suppliers to ensure that system requirements are interpreted and implemented as intended.
- Create control system test plans/procedures used to validate control systems on simulated closed-loop benches, in a P&WC engine test cell, and on experimental flight test aircraft.
- Support P&WC engine test department and suppliers' closed-loop bench test facilities to ensure smooth execution of validation activity.
- Support customer flight test activity.
- Provide technical support to P&WC's manufacturing sector to ensure smooth transition of new products into production.
- Provide technical support to P&WC's aftermarket sector to resolve field issues.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate must have a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace); combined with 2 to 5 years experience in control systems engineering.
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is 65,000 CAD - 107,800 CAD.
