About the role
- DMT currently runs over 350 trucks and almost 500 trailers from our five terminals in Birmingham, AL, Scottsboro, AL, Camden, AL, Starke, FL and Broken Bow, OK..
- This position is in a repair shop environment.
- You will handle the organization of shop workflow, writing up Work Orders, Purchase orders, overseeing a parts inventory, and providing end of month inventory counts.
Responsibilities
- Create, Detail, Close, and Review work orders
- Driver support functions
Requirements
- Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including (MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Teams).
- Experience using computerized fleet maintenance, invoicing, and scheduling systems.
- Service Writer experience highly desired, but not required.
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Software Proficiency:
- They must be customer service-oriented as well as team-oriented and must have good organizational skills.
- A successful Service Writer must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
