About the role

- This is a full-time, onsite role based in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities
- Ship end-to-end features: Design APIs, build intuitive UIs, implement backend services, own data models, and deploy production-ready software.
- Build for scale and speed: Optimize latency, caching, database queries, and application performance to deliver fast, reliable user experiences.
- Own quality: Write comprehensive tests, maintain strong typing and linting standards, participate in thoughtful code reviews, and keep the codebase clean and maintainable.
- Operate what you build: Implement observability, monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve reliability and performance.
- Lead with product sense: Make thoughtful technical and product tradeoffs, prioritize effectively, and iterate based on user feedback and data.
- Go beyond your lane: Unblock teammates, embrace new technologies, and do whatever it takes to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- We're building the memory layer for AI agents.
- Think long-term memory that enables AI to remember conversations, learn from interactions, and build context over time.
- Build the product surface of the Mem0 Platform, our memory infrastructure powering the next generation of AI agents.
- You'll own features end to end across Next.js and Python, shipping quickly without compromising code quality, performance, or reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade full-stack applications at scale.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern web application architecture.
- Experience operating production systems using logging, metrics, tracing, and monitoring tools while meeting low-latency performance requirements.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent coursework and practical experience.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with vLLM, model serving, or lightweight ML infrastructure.
- Infrastructure experience with Docker, Kubernetes, IaC, AWS, GCP, or Vercel.
- Understanding of security and privacy best practices, including PII handling and audit logging.
