About the role

  • The Internships at this site will run on a 10 week program schedule from May 17, 2027 - July 23rd, 2027.
  • This is a paid, full time (40 hours/week) temporary position at the AstraZeneca manufacturing facility located at 4601 Highway 62 East in Mt.

Responsibilities

  • At AstraZeneca, our purpose is to push the boundaries of science to deliver life-changing medicines.
  • Project Management Intern: Support cross-functional teams in planning, tracking, and delivering key site initiatives. Learn how to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications.
  • Quality Control Intern: Perform lab-based testing and support analytical methods to ensure product quality. Learn about Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and lab instrumentation.
  • Quality Compliance Intern: Support audits, documentation, and regulatory readiness activities. Learn how quality systems ensure patient safety and product integrity.
  • Support risk assessments, audits, and environmental compliance efforts.

Requirements

  • Studying to complete Bachelor's degree or higher in an area related to the role.
  • Candidates must have an expected graduation date set for after August 2027.
  • US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
  • Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa (e.g., CPT, H1-B, F-1 (OPT), TN, or other non-immigrant status).
  • Must have demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and achieve significant, complex goals and objectives.
  • Must have experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
