  • To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What you'll be doing The Enterprise Anti-Money Laundering (EAML) Group is responsible for all aspects of CIBC's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) regime.

Responsibilities

  • This includes developing policies and procedures, designing and delivering training, reviewing the activities of CIBC's business and infrastructure groups, and conducting investigations, such as receiving and analyzing information that may indicate money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or violation, or other high-risk activities.
  • You will support the effective management of regulatory changes in Canada by providing research, analysis, drafting briefings and administrative assistance for policy and regulation activities related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF).
  • AML/ATF knowledge - Apply your knowledge of AML/ATF requirements to support policy development and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Attention to Detail - Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring information is organized and accessible for the team.
  • Relationship building - Leverage effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and support stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

  • You can demonstrate experience in supporting policy development, conducting research, and providing feedback on AML/ATF-related matters.
  • You have experience in applying AML/ATF laws and regulations, and understand how regulatory requirements are implemented.
  • You have strong organizational and communication skills, enabling you to track, organize, and report information clearly and accurately.
  • You are motivated by collective success and thrive in a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

  • You have a strong sense of curiosity.
