About the role

  • This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic work environment and a variety of tasks.
  • As a Waste Technician, you will spend 70% of your time handling non-hazardous and hazardous waste materials, including collection, sorting, packaging, processing and some shipping/receiving.
  • The remaining 30% will involve assisting at Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection events, where residents drop off materials like paint, oil, and other household waste items.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventories of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
  • Support Processing and shipping documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support processing activities related to waste management.

Compensation

  • $15k-$30k
