About the role
- Heavy Equipment Mechanic - 2nd Shift *THIS IS A 2nd SHIFT POSITION LOCATED IN THE PHOENIX METRO AREA * Start time during Winter is approximately 2pm.
- Start time during Summer is approximately 1pm.
- Rummel Construction, Inc. is a Heavy Civil General Contractor specializing in mass excavation and grading.
Requirements
- 2+ Years Experience repairing CAT, John Deere, or other manufactured heavy equipment
- An acceptable driving record and the ability to obtain a DOT Med Card
- Ability to lift, load, and unload up to 50 lbs
- Ability to walk, sit, squat, stand, or bend for extended periods
- Ability to enter and exit equipment using 3 points of contact
- Knowledge of completing inspection logs, electronic driver logs, and DOT compliance
- Experience with welding and grinding machines
