About the role

  • The position will be responsible for accurately tracking major asset and liability accounts such as property, plant, and equipment; investments; bonds; and fund balances.
  • Assure that transactions are recorded timely and accounts are reconciled monthly, particularly restricted gifts.
  • Monitor to assure spending is consistent with restrictions.

  • Support Development group in planning and accounting for events and gifts.

Requirements

  • Other account analyses, documentation of internal controls, and other tasks as required.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with shifting responsibilities and priorities
  • ability to re-prioritize efforts without losing sight of required outcomes.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Advanced degree is a plus.

  • 5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems (Lawson and Blackbaud Raiser's Edge) plus use of other modeling tools.

Compensation

  • $65,018 - $108,857 based on total years of related experience
