About the role
- The Analyst, Project Finance is responsible for supporting the team focusing on project financing as well as strategic modeling of solar and storage projects.
- We have a preference for applicants in the Boise or New York areas or individuals open to relocating to one of those areas.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.
- Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.
- We develop, finance, construct, own, and operate utility-scale solar and energy storage facilities throughout the United States.
Requirements
- Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) and familiarity with financial software or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for analyzing large datasets and preparing reports.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, energy/environmental, or related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
Skills
- Understanding of key metrics such as Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), capacity factors, and PPA structures to evaluate project viability.
- Handles shifting priorities and learns new tools quickly.
Benefits
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Capital Markets, Project Finance, and/or tax equity structures, or investment banking within renewable energy industry.
- Assist in performing complex modeling including creating valuations, budgets and evaluating financial structures for debt and tax equity.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, energy/environmental, or related field.
