Conveniently located in the North Bay, this hospital consists of 144 acute psychiatric inpatient beds.
Conveniently located in the North Bay, SRBHH serves adolescents and adults.
We treat both mental health and co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse conditions.

Addresses and supports cultural practices as long as such practices do not harm others or interfere with the planned course of therapy.
Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.
Maintains close coordination with all departments to ensure continuity and collaboration of services.
Implements an effective, ongoing program to measure, assess and improve the quality of nursing care delivered to psychiatric patients.
Ensures each nursing department's performance improvement program interfaces with and supports the nursing department performance improvement program.
Collaborates with facility leaders in developing, implementing, reviewing, revising and monitoring facility wide performance improvement activities.

While performing the duties of this job, this position is frequently required to do the following: Use standard office equipment and access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
Provide consultation on surveillance measures and infectious diseases as required.
Seven years of experience working as a psych nurse, five of which are in a Director-level or higher role required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with people with a variety of background and educational levels.
Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, expanding organization.

$175,000-$200,000 ANNUALLY REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Organizes and administers areas of Nursing Services to attain the facility's objectives established by the governing authority.

The Chief Nursing Officer maintains knowledge of, participates in further training provided, and understands the potential risks regarding occupational health hazards (e.g. bloodborne pathogen exposures).
