About the role
- Louis, Missouri, over 650 ECP-affiliated practice locations provide care in 18 states and 80 markets, providing services that span the eye care continuum.
- The position involves frequent walking (75%), sitting (50%), and standing (50%), with regular bending, stooping, and reaching (25-50%).
- Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands are essential, as the role demands constant grasping, writing/typing, and use of technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead the office by guiding them to success through focused support and coaching
- Enhance processes and workflow by taking initiative to build action plans to increase the efficiency and profitability of the office
- Collaborate with Clinic Manager and HR on employee relations and recruitment needs
- Collaborate with other Clinic Supervisors and Managers to develop creative approaches to areas of improvement
- A Clinic Supervisor is a highly engaged leader that possess a high level of acuity in business acumen and is focused on developing a patient-focused team that is goal oriented.
Requirements
- Employees must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a courteous, professional manner at all times
- Ability to work weekends when applicable
- Minimum Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum Required: Two years of management experience in Ophthalmology or related industry
- Exhibit fair and compassionate leadership
- Desire to gain industry knowledge and training
- Demonstrates initiative in accomplishing practice goals
- Consistently creating a positive work environment by being team-oriented and patient-focused
- Reliable transportation that would allow employee to go to multiple work locations with minimal notice when applicable
- Commitment to work over 40 hours to meet the needs of the business
Nice to have
- Current Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
