About the role

  • You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
  • This is a full-time position on 2nd shift working Thursday through Monday with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.

Responsibilities

  • The Hot Mix Operator at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant.

Requirements

  • Experience with operating a sit-down forklift
  • The ability to work overtime and weekends

Nice to have

  • Must be able to correctly weigh ingredients in both grams and pounds.
  • Must understand the importance of adding ingredients to blender in the proper order.
  • Must be able to learn all blending operations for all products.
  • Must be able to keep accurate records.
  • Must be able to blend at a rate, which will keep the drying operations going.
  • Must be able to C.I.P. and clean related blending equipment.
  • Must be able to lift fifty (50)-plus (+) pounds.
  • Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP'S, SOP's, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by Bay Valley Foods.
