  • This role serves as a working leader, performing all standard Ramp Agent duties while coaching team members and modeling exceptional performance.

Responsibilities

  • Always promote and maintain a culture of safety.
  • Perform station leadership duties such as assigning flights for the day, scheduling and managing agents on a week-to-week basis.
  • Maintain clear communication with flight crews and other ground personnel.
  • Perform regular equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support McGee's successful business operation.
  • Self-motivated, with proven ability to lead and direct the work of others in a positive way.

  • The Lead Ramp Agent provides day-to-day‑ direction, guidance, and support to Ramp Agents to ensure safe, efficient, and high quality operation.
  • Deliver passenger luggage and cargo to designated locations.

Requirements

  • Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry baggage and cargo weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 75 pounds or more.
  • Ability to climb stairs/ladders and work in cramped or high places.
  • Manual dexterity required for handling documents and operating equipment.
  • Must be able to operate various ground support equipment (GSE) which requires a valid driver's license and the physical capability to do so safely.
