- Boston, MA Raleigh, NC Salary Ranges (by jurisdiction, in compliance with local laws): State of Maryland Salary Range: $105,000- $170,000 Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.

Requirements
- Knowledge of Illumination Engineering Society (IES) Standards and reference material resources such as NFPA Link, TechStreet, MadCAD, and Facility Guideline Institution (FGI)
- Advanced proficiency of Master Specification editing and software such as eSPECS
- Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Candidates may apply from Boston, MA or Raleigh, NC but must be willing to self‑relocate to Germantown, MD.

- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and electrical engineering best practices, and contribute to research and innovation efforts within IMEG
- Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work and help identify and mitigate potential risks associated with electrical systems
- Participate in project interviews and presentations
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, required
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required
- 7 years of experience minimum required, 12 preferred, in the building design consulting industry
- Due to federal contract requirements, this position requires U.S. citizenship

- Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
