About the role

  • VP, Enterprise Procurement What you will be doing: The Vice President, Enterprise Procurement is responsible for leading and executing a unified procurement strategy across all business units at Premier.
  • This role ensures alignment of sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations with enterprise priorities, driving cost optimization, risk mitigation, and value creation.
  • This role operates as an enterprise integrator, partnering across all business segments to standardize procurement practices and maximize Premier's scale and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise procurement strategy across all business units
  • Drive enterprise spend visibility and optimization
  • Lead enterprise sourcing and contracting processes
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance
  • Lead supplier risk management
  • Implement procurement tools and systems
  • Drive process standardization and efficiency
  • Develop analytics and reporting capabilities
  • Partner with executive and business unit leaders
  • Lead procurement organization

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative business environment in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions

  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in related function
  • Demonstrated vendor/partner negotiation experience and measurable cost savings.
  • Proven Experience on the execution of a centralized procurement transformation
  • Change management experience
