About the role
- TYLin's Rockaway office is looking for a Resident Engineer to play a key role in driving our construction projects forward.
Responsibilities
- Perform as Resident Engineer on local highway, & bridge transportation projects.
- Implement established project management, construction engineering and inspection safety procedures and guidelines on project(s).
- Manage one or more construction management and construction inspection projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required with a PE or NICET IV
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities
- Provide close coordination of work with agency/owner, contractor, utilities and other stakeholders as required.
Nice to have
- Experience managing projects from local agencies such as NJDOT, NJ Turnpike Authority, NJ Transit and PANYNJ is preferred.

Compensation
- As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $135,000 - $174,000 annually for this position and local market.
