Responsibilities
- Stocks rooms (supplies, linen, chart forms, appropriate equipment), maintains PAR levels of supplies
- Performs clerical duties such as faxing, photocopying, and filing
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively and tactfully and to represent the department appropriately during contact with patients, their families, physicians, and other department personnel
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
- Integrative Agitation Management (IAMTAC) Required within 30 days of hire.
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred at hire.
Skills
- Knowledge of sterilization practices and techniques
- Knowledge of principles of aseptic technique
- Ability to function within a fast-paced medical environment
- Knowledge of relevant medical supplies and equipment used in an outpatient, surgical, or other environment to which assigned
- Effective verbal and written communication skill
- Demonstrated ability in being flexible to meet the needs of the department
- Demonstrated ability in the use of medical databases, and accurate keyboarding related to applicable computer hardware and software
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to take call (must live within 30 minutes of hospital location) and work additional hours as needed

- Individual pay is set by skills, experience, qualifications, and internal/market equity, consistent with MarinHealth's compensation philosophy.
