Design and develop test systems, equipment configurations, and test items in collaboration with engineering team members to mature prototype first-of-its-kind X-Energy technologies.
Lead test system design reviews and coordinate the preparation of Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Data, and Test Reports.
Support in-person test setup, installation, commissioning, and execution at X-energy's test facility.
Support standard processes and best practices associated with technology maturation, test planning and execution.
Maintain professional demeanor and behavior in all forms of communication.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Typically three years of experience in a test engineering role.
Typically five years of experience in a test engineering role.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or nuclear engineering or related degree from an accredited institution.

Previous experience at X-energy exceeding performance standards may be in lieu of years of experience.
Hands on experience with hardware development, testing and experimentation.
Demonstrated experience with design of experiment and test planning.
Background in full technology development lifecycle
Broad background including mechanical, thermal, and materials testing.
Experience with data acquisition and instrument electronics and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with the ASME BPVC.

Offers within the posted salary range are commensurate with the individual's qualifications for the position, along with a view on internal equity, market data, and room for growth.
Level II: $90,000- $115,000 /

Collaborate with Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) on hazard identification, safety planning, safety equipment procurement, and infrastructure requirements and training needs.
