- Operate the production machinery in one or more of the following machine work centers identified and trained by
- Assembles, tests, and modifies prototypes or custom electronic parts and systems, including soldering wires
- Works from schematics, oral instructions, and existing documentation
- Follows established procedures and guidelines to check, test, and inspect finished goods before they are shipped from the distribution center to the customer
- Compares the physical characteristics of products to technical specifications to identify defects
- ensuring that the color of wires on the harnesses are recognized in order to solder to proper pads
- Ensures compliance with all safety regulations
- Conducts tests on electrical function, reliability, and packaging quality and record results
