About the role
- Tarkett is seeking a new Production Team Member to join their manufacturing team in Florence, Alabama.
- Correctly move and label material/product throughout the process
- Ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer by inspecting product throughout the process
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment and machines that support production
- Maintain and support 5S initiatives throughout the facility
- Drive a safety culture by adhering to all safety rules, supporting safety initiatives, and communicating opportunities for improvement through near misses, and Kaizen
- Maintain cleanliness of operations, equipment and facility
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Participate in projects and work with others to provide solutions to opportunities and drive improvement and efficient
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Must be able to make repetitive motions involving twisting and turning.
Skills
- Notify supervisor of defective material, equipment, or tools that hinder the process
