About the role
- The Supply Chain Director is accountable for the leadership, governance, and execution of all supply chain, procurement, contracts, logistics, materials management, supplier quality, and expediting activities.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Supply Chain Leadership Develop and implement project-specific supply chain strategies aligned with EPCM execution models and client objectives.
- Lead supply chain planning across FEL-2, FEL-3, FEED, execution, commissioning, and project closeout phases.
- Establish procurement and contracts strategies that optimize commercial outcomes while protecting schedule certainty and project margins.
- Support bid development and proposals by contributing supply chain execution strategies, market intelligence, pricing strategies, and risk assessments.
- Collaborative Contracting & Stakeholder Alignment Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Sales and Project Delivery teams to understand requirements and develop differentiated and integrated Supply Chain strategies and execution solutions for clients Promote collaborative contracting principles to improve project delivery outcomes and reduce adversarial behaviors.
- Develop commercial frameworks that align owner, EPCM, contractor, and supplier objectives.
- Facilitate early contractor engagement (ECI) processes to support constructability reviews, schedule validation, and risk mitigation.
- Lead strategic supplier and contractor relationship management initiatives.
- Support dispute avoidance and proactive commercial resolution strategies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with: Long-lead equipment OEM manufacturing capacity Global logistics constraints Tariffs and trade restrictions Commodity escalation Supplier performance Geopolitical exposure Develop procurement risk registers and mitigation plans.
