- Triage, route, and monitor service tickets in Jira Service Management; refine automation rules as needed to keep workflows running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- maintain and troubleshoot complex stored procedures to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Partner closely with business users to translate their needs into technical tasks and close the feedback loop with speed and clarity.
- Perform functional QA testing across new and existing systems, document results thoroughly, and uphold release quality at every stage.
- Contribute to the development of scalable QA practices, test-case frameworks, and process documentation that the team can build on over time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in specialty finance, fintech, or similar data-intensive environments.
Nice to have
- 3+ years of experience in production support, business/operations systems, or a similar role - financial services or fintech background preferred.
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including writing and optimizing queries, auditing production data updates, and troubleshooting stored procedures.
- Hands-on experience configuring workflows in Jira Service Management or a comparable ITSM platform.
- Ability to read and follow application code (e.g., Python, C#, TypeScript) well enough to debug logic and trace data flow.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear written and verbal communication and comfort interfacing with non-technical stakeholders.
